10 principles of detectives
1. Preserve secrecy of clients. If revealing the information, detectives would lose the clients’ belief.
2. Do not accept bribes.
3. To be hard-working on even unsalaried cases.
4. Place reason above sentiment.
5. Do not use subjective ideas to predict situations. The truths must be full, obvious evidences.
6. Master at least one kind of barehanded martial arts to self-defend.
7. Get hold of psychology, especially criminal psychology.
8. Seize forensic science and identification science.
9. Write investigative reports in details truthfully.
10. Do not contend with others for merits in an investigative team.
